1957-58 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham

1957-58 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham

One of the most luxurious cars ever built, this Cadillac cost about twice that of a “regular” Cadillac in the day, about as much as a suburban house. It was meant for celebrities. Hand-built, it featured a brushed stainless steel roof, every conceivable doodad & gadget, & a lowered height, made possible by a new type of frame. It also had four headlights, which the government had declared illegal, so it was intentionally “on the edge.”

This was shot as part of a magazine feature.
