Images
of Birmingham Alabama (and other subjects) for Sale as Fine Art Prints
and on Mugs, Bags and T-shirts.
I was born in Birmingham at what is now UAB. I've lived here my whole
life and am kind of partial to the place.
Most any image on
the
AdPix.Biz
web site can be purchased. They are also representative of many more.
So
if you see one you like, or if want one similar, please ask.
The images
seen here are greatly reduced in quality for display on the web site,
and at only 72 dpi (dots per inch).
The
actual prints are quite sharp, at 300 dpi or more, chemically processed
in a lab with Kodak Chemicals (not ink-jet or giclee) on thick Fuji
Crystal Archive paper with a
deep gloss.
I can also insert
your
building,
sign, logo, car, or virtually anything else, into the photos.

sales
tax. We also have discounts at various framing shops around.

montage made from over a dozen photographs of Birmingham, Alabama,
illustrating its architectural beauty. It is available either as a 22" x 28" lithograph, on 100#

"Executive," printed chemically
(not ink jet) on thick, glossy, Fuji Crystal Archive paper, developed
in
a photo lab with
Kodak chemicals, 20" x 24." Executives are all signed and numbered

These are 16x20, but for the First Methodist, which is 20x30 & is a
"Church Portrait" involving a number of layered photos, taken at
different times. No, I did not digitally add the moon in that first
photo.

Daybreak Pano
|
This is a
panorama of Birmingham at daybreak. It is 12" high by about 42" long.

Pano Rainmaker
"Rainmaker"
|
Everyone busy at work
- office lights, traffic, planes and even a train! It is 20" x 30".
|
Daybreak Montage |
This is more than a
panoramic print of Birmingham. Not only is it wider than 180 degrees in
scope, it is a "compressed" montage of
at least 18 shots, taken at various times of the day, so that the sun
is setting on
the right, with building lights on, but afternoon lighting on the
left. It is 15" x 20", with a horizontal band
above and below to make it 20x30 (a common poster dimension - although
it is much heavier and of higher quality and more detail than a
poster).

UAB |
This is 8x10 (for
framing with a
diploma) and can be printed with a textured matt in UAB colors, making
the image 11x14 overall.
|
Vulcan
|
These detail shots are 5" x 7" each.

There are two variations of this print,
originating from
a special
commission to include famous arts venues for the cover of Avenues
Magazine. They look great on special red and gold matt and frame (much
better than the colors I had to use for the background of the page you
will see when clicking on the small versions here). Both versions
contain
the following Birmingham landmarks: Civic Center Concert Hall, Ona's
Music
Hall, the Art Museum, the School of Fine Art, the Carver Jazz Hall of
Fame,
Sloss Furnaces, Alys Stephens Arts Center, the Virginia Samford
Theater,
and the Alabama Theatre.
The left version is printed with canvas texture, in
matte, and
the right
version is glossy, without the canvas texture.
Signed and numbered, with about four weeks
needed for
delivery. Please also note with
version
you prefer, the left (1st version) or right (2nd version).
